Movie News: BRADLEY COOPER AS THE CROW?

Rumours are circulating around Hollywood that Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in a remake of the 1994 dark comic book adaption The Crow. This was a great film over shadowed by the death of its star Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee), after he was killed on set by a prop gun that shot him in the stomach with a plastic bullet. Special effects allowed the film to be completed with a body double standing in for Lee.

I was a huge fan of the original movie and so I'm not sure I like the idea of it being remade. That being said, if they do decide to make it, Bradley Cooper would be a good choice. He's also on a roll at the moment with The Hangover Part 2 taking over $130m in it's first few days of release he's hot property in tinsel town and they're propable scrabbling around to find him some new opportunities.

Movie News: ORLANDO BLOOM IN THE HOBBIT!

It's official folks, Peter Jackson has confirmed that Orlando Bloom will return as Legolas in The Hobbit and let's face it, nobody will be more pleased than...Orlando Bloom! After all, this was the role that made him a global star and things haven't been too great for him over the last few years.

It's no surprise to see Legolas return to Middle Earth, especially as this news had already leaked out at the end of last year, but maybe contracts hadn't yet been signed or Bloom was holding out for a little bit more cash. Either way, he'll be joining Sir Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett, who will all returning for another slice of Hobbit action.
